Project Description
This project was a great example of turning an insurance loss into an opportunity. A leak damaged some hardwood in the kitchen as well as in the basement underneath. Originally, the homeowners planned to only replace the damaged wood, but after taking a look through our showroom and working with our team, they decided to turn their insurance loss into a timely renovation.
We ended up removing all the pre-existing hardwood and carpet from the main floor and replacing it with a beautiful hand-scraped Hickory in a 5 ¼ “ format. We then installed new tile in the entryway and upstairs bathroom, which included the backsplash, tub surround and a custom shower.
Our homeowners were very meticulous about their home and put a lot of care and attention into their decor. Knowing that the home is a sacred place and reflection of who you are, we are always happy to accommodate. Together, we explored many different types of hardwood and tile until we arrived at the perfect choice. It was a great collaboration and the homeowners love their bright, new floors.
