If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Sometimes, an insurance loss isn’t the worst thing. These homeowners decided to take the opportunity to upgrade their hardwood to this beautiful, wide plank white oak in a low-lustre stain. Sometimes it can be challenging to complement pre-existing woodwork with a different colour. But design team Bryce and Kayla Osborne did an excellent job choosing a light colour that both updates the space and complements the dark brown cabinets and railing.
