Palliser Project
Project Description
When our homeowner moved in to this suny condo in Calgary’s Palliser neighborhood, residue from decades of cigarette smoke pervaded throughout. It was on the walls, on the ceiling, and even on the floors. She decided a renovation in her new condo was necessary.
She chose a warmly stained Ash engineered hardwood for the living room, bedroom, office, and hallway. Her tile selections in the kitchen and bathroom are equally as lovely, especially the accent pieces: a transparent glass subway tile lines the kitchen backsplash while an earthy, rustic mosaic tile borders the fireplace.
Overall, the home has a very nice balance between clean modern lines and warm, craftsmanship-inspired furniture and art. She couldn’t be happier, and it’s evident, as she now feels quite inspired to play the piano and take on ambitious textile projects in her new space.
